This is how Sweetpea began.

Fitness has always been a big part of my life, but my journey to Sweetpea hasn't exactly been a straight line.

I joined the military at 17, before going on to pursue a career as a personal trainer and online coach. Then I became a mum.

I had three children and made the decision to take five years away from work so I could be present with them while they were little. Eventually, I returned to work and spent three years in the corporate world, but throughout all of those different chapters, my love of fitness never went away.

What did change was what I needed from my clothes.

When activewear became everyday wear.

Before having children, activewear was something I wore to work out. As a mum, I found myself living in it.

I still wanted clothes I could train in, but I also wanted to be comfortable on the school run, working from home, running errands, travelling, playing with the kids or just getting through a busy day.

And I didn't want to have to choose between feeling comfortable and feeling good about myself.

At the beginning of 2025, I decided I wanted to build a business of my own. When I thought about what that business should be, activewear just made sense.

I wanted to create the pieces I had been looking for myself.

Activewear designed for real life.

For me, Sweetpea isn't about creating clothes that you put on for an hour at the gym and take off again.

I want to create clothes you genuinely want to live in.

Something you feel good in from the moment you put it on — and still feel good in every time you reach for it afterwards. Pieces that are comfortable enough for everyday life, functional enough to work out in and flattering enough to make you feel confident wearing them anywhere.

Because women shouldn't have to choose between being comfortable and feeling amazing.

At the beginning of 2026, I left my corporate career behind to give Sweetpea everything I had.

It's exciting, scary and still very much a journey, but I'm building a brand around something I genuinely believe in.

One of my goals in life is to help women feel amazing.

If Sweetpea can help you feel a little more comfortable, a little more confident and a little more like yourself when you get dressed in the morning, then I'm doing what I set out to do.
